It Will Get Better. Day by Day. You Are Doing Great, Momma!
Moms, how are you doing?
I hope you are well and in a good health😊.
When we become a mom, it was very hard to spare time for ourself. Our routines were changed automatically and we barely took care of ourself. If you are in this phase, let me say " everything will get better and you are doing great right now."
If you feel everything is uncontrolled, let me say "Get some help." We are not designed to be a superhero so it is very okay to be helped by people around you. We are not designed to be cool everyday and that is why you can feel sad and disappointed with yourself. Yet, you have to appreciate for things you have been through and you are amazing!
Some of us may have to be back at work after taking our maternity leave and some of us may decide to quit from the work we have loved for years. To me, we are all in the same spirit! We want the best for our family and have considered what suits well to ourself and our kids.
In the journey, we probably question our decision. It seems like these days we easily can be motivated but with the social media exposure nowadays, we also can feel upset. When we look a very happy mom in social media, we start to compare "Why can't I be that happy?" or "Why can't I be more joyful with my role as a Mom?". Let me say "You need to take your time to understand all changes in your life." and we need to accept that our life has changed and it will not be the same as before. Yet, our life is going to be much better with our kids.
Try to make a long list what you have achieved as a mom and you will be surprised of yourself! We learn everyday. We face new challenging everyday and we solve it. We were brought from one place to another place. We grow with our kids and that is the best gift we can have. We have gone this far and we must take every minute to say thank you to ourself.
You may read this on your way from work to your baby. You probably scroll your phone in the dark room while your baby sleep besides you and read this.
Our kids will be adult people someday. Hopefully, we are given a long life in health to see them. Everything will change. They will go or stay far from you. Therefore, the choice is on our hands. What memories to be made is our choice.
Today might be very hard for you but trust me, good days will come. Hang on😊
Your choice is something you will not regret in the future. Whatever your heart says, you go with it💕💗
